Coronavirus: Holi Celebration 2020 Canceled In San Ramon
The festival was planned for Friday, March 27 at Bishop Ranch.
SAN RAMON, CA — The 2020 Holi Festival, planned Friday, March 27 at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, was canceled due to apparent coronavirus, health and safety concerns.
"In an abundance of caution, we’ve decided to cancel this year’s Holi Celebration at Bishop Ranch on Friday, March 27th," organizers announced on the web site. "We will be bringing back this lively, colorful and fun event next year."
Plans for the family-friendly event, to celebrate the onset of spring, were to include color throws, face-painting, music, dance performances and a food truck from Curry Up Now, a Bay Area-based Indian restaurant chain that is to open a location this spring or summer at City Center.
