Man Who Died In San Ramon Parking Lot Identified
Employees in the shopping center said they tried to help the unresponsive man.
SAN RAMON, CA — The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who died in a San Ramon parking lot early Tuesday morning. At about 6 a.m., officers and firefighters responded to the Safeway parking lot on Bollinger Canyon Road after someone called to report that 25-year-old Jett Rollins was unresponsive in a car parked in the lot, police said.
Employees who work in the shopping center told Patch that they tried to revive Rollins while waiting for help. Police said officers found the Alameda man dead when they arrived.
Rollins' death is under investigation. The Contra Costa County Coroner's Office said the cause of death is pending while investigators await the results of toxicology tests.
