Crash Cause Of San Ramon Power Outage

Crow Canyon Road was temporarily closed while emergency crews investigated the collision and removed downed power lines.

SAN RAMON, CA — A single car crash prompted a power outage in San Ramon Monday evening, police said. The collision was reported in the area of Crow Canyon and Lopez Ranch roads in Alameda County just after 7 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application.

Crow Canyon was temporarily closed between Bollinger Canyon and Norris Canyon roads, according to police. PG&E crews worked to repair the downed power lines.

At 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, more than 20 customers were still without electricity. The power was fully restored by 8:30 a.m. No other information is available.
