An 18-year-old Danville man has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he allegedly crashed into a home early on Tuesday morning.
According to Lt. Allan Shields, Shae Kapulica was driving north on Westridge Avenue at 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 2, when he apparently failed to turn at Midland Way. Kapulica’s Audi A4 left the roadway and struck the home across the intersection.
The collision caused damage to the home, including a break in the residential gas line. As a safety precaution, the residents of the home and the adjacent houses were evacuated and Pacific Gas & Electric was called to the scene to repair the line. No injuries were reported in the incident.
