Deadline Nears For San Ramon 'National Night Out 2018' Sign-Ups
Neighborhoods interested in visits from the police at their block parties & BBQs must register soon. Help spread the word!

SAN RAMON, CA – This year's National Night Out, the annual evening to promote police partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 7. And sign-ups are underway for San Ramon neighborhoods interested in having event drop-ins from the San Ramon Police Department.
The deadline to register is Thursday, Aug. 2.
Millions of neighbors in thousands of communities across the U.S. take part in National Night Out, started in 1984, on the first Tuesday in August with block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and often with such activities as safety demonstrations and visits from emergency personnel.

"If you plan to participate, please register your event with us no later than Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, so we can be sure to stop by," the department said. "If you have any questions and/or want to register your group for this event, please direct them to Darlene Kittredge, Crime Prevention Specialist at dkittredge@sanramon.ca.gov."
