Dougherty Valley Seniors Take "Memory Walks" To Elementary Schools
Students near the end of their K-12 education took a trip down memory lane to where it all began.
SAN RAMON, CA — Several SRVUSD seniors on the verge of graduating enjoyed a full-circle moment as they ventured back to their elementary schools. Students have been traveling back throughout the month and walking back through the hallways where they first learned to read and add, usually surrounded by cheering students. Above are some photos of students at Dougherty Valley High School, who recently ventured back to Hidden Hills Elementary School and Quail Run Elementary School.
“These Memory Walks allow our DVHS students the chance to appreciate the child they were when they first entered school, the student they became, and the young adults they have grown into today. From the other side, it gives our elementary students the chance to envision themselves as Seniors, returning for this final walk, and the future ahead of them,” one parent wrote.
