Emergency Prep Courses Offered To Danville, San Ramon Residents
Registration is open for several three-hour courses on emergency prep led by professionals from the town, fire department, and county.
SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon and Danville residents are invited to participate in a Personal Emergency Preparedness course, a collaborative effort from the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, the city of San Ramon, the town of Danville, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, and Contra Costa County.
Three three-hour PEP courses are being offered Feb. 24, March 23, and April 28. The courses will cover:
- What to do before, during, and after a major emergency
- Hazard mitigation
- Utility control
- Personal and family emergency supplies
- Shelter in place
- How to remain calm
Classes are held from 6-9 p.m. at the district's administrative offices at 2401 Crow Canyon Road, Suite A in San Ramon.
