Another San Ramon Brush Fire Extinguished

A small fire was reported in the same area Sunday afternoon.

SAN RAMON, CA — Firefighters extinguished a grass fire reported in San Ramon Monday afternoon. The blaze was reported in the 800 block of Pradera Way at 2:14 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application. Residents in the area were briefly evacuated, according to police. Smoke from the blaze could be seen across the Tri-Valley area.

On Sunday, a brush fire in the same area prompted officials to briefly evacuate 15 homes on Estancia Court and Pradera Way. That blaze was contained to about 10 acres.

A red flag warning is in effect until 5 p.m. Tuesday for the East Bay hills and the North Bay mountains.
