On Monday 6/4 I was having lunch with my daughter at Chipotle in San Ramon, I took a bowl with lettuce and shredded beef topped with more veggies. While I was eating I saw this bug crawling out of the middle of my food to the edge of the bowl. Honest to god I start shacking, I was shocked, I asked my daughter to take a picture right away then I went and talked to the manager in the restaurant, I showed her the bug which was still moving around in my bowl. The manager asked me if I was sitting outside because it could’ve fell from the tree but I told her I’ve been sitting inside and pointed out where My table is and my daughter was still sitting there, then the manager apologized a lot and refunded my money plus gave me two free meals for future visits.
I felt I need to report this incident to food health department which I did on 6/4th but until now no one contacted me from there.
Chipotle lost me as a customer, I will never eat there again.
