Get A Free Subway Sandwich In San Ramon Today

SAN RAMON, CA — One of the nation's most popular sandwich chains is giving away one million free sandwiches on Tuesday. The giveaway runs from 10 a.m. to noon. The first 50 people in line per store, at participating locations, who ask for a free Subway Series sandwich receives one.

There are five Subway locations in and around San Ramon:

• 2441 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon
• 11000 Bollinger Canyon Rd., San Ramon
• 21001 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon
• 9000 Crow Canyon Rd., Danville
• 6000 Dougherty Rd., Dublin

Subway says this deal is in celebration of its biggest menu change in 60 years. Last week, Subway revealed a new menu including 12 new signature sandwiches. The new menu is divided into four categories with three sandwiches each.

Starting in the cheesesteak category, Subway is adding:

• The Philly
• The Outlaw
• The Monster

In the chicken category:

• The Mexicali
• The Great Garlic
• The Champ.

In the clubs category:

• All-American Club
• Subway Club
• Turkey Cali Club.

If you're feeling like an Italian sandwich:

• The Boss

"The Subway Series is the most ambitious undertaking in company history, as we are changing the nearly 60-year-old blueprint that helped make Subway a global phenomenon," President of North America at Subway, Trevor Haynes said. "Last summer's Eat Fresh Refresh laid the foundation to build a better Subway, and now the Subway Series enhances the entire Subway guest experience."

The sandwich chain also introduced a new ordering system that allows for an expedited experience. Instead of going through the line and picking ingredients, guests can now say any sandwich number or name and size.
