Heads Up, San Ramon: Controlled Burn Planned Thursday

The Alameda County Fire Department will conduct a controlled training burn at Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in Dublin on Thursday, May 26.

According to the fire department, "Training burns are carefully planned, monitored, and must meet strict criteria of fuel conditions, weather parameters, smoke management, and fire safety guidelines."

"We do encourage residents to keep doors and windows closed, and individuals and pets with respiratory concerns are advised to stay indoors during the burn hours."

The burn will be conducted between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
