Like Hikes? See What San Ramon Has To Offer On App
A smartphone app now provides San Ramon hikers the option to see local trails, plan their route and more.
SAN RAMON, CA — Planning your next local hike just got easier. The City of San Ramon's hiking trails can now be found on the Easy2Hike app, where users can get detailed informations about trails.
The app allows hikers to see local trails and changes in elevation, get safety notifications, plan out a route and navigate while hiking. Hikers may share information about their experience, including damages and obstacles. Hikers may receive messages or information about events pushed to them with a notification.
The app shares some of that data with cities to help them better understand how trails are being used, Easy2Hike says on its website.
