This gallery exhibit, titled “An Ordinary Year, An Extraordinary Time”’ covers a 12 month experience in Vietnam shared by 500,000 American Soldier from June 1968 to June 1969. It includes more than sixty photographs of ordinary soldiers, ordinary villagers and ordinary children trying to het through each day during an extraordinary conflict. The images have been selected from more than 4,000 taken by an infantryman serving the 1st Infantry Division.
