SAN RAMON, CA — City Center Bishop Ranch is going all out to celebrate Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors. Holi is a holiday to celebrate the start of spring. It is also considered a celebration of the triumph of good over evil, and a day to rid oneself of past errors and make amends. Hindus often celebrate the holiday by throwing colorful dyes at each other.

On Saturday from 2-4, the celebration will include a live DJ, Bollywood dance performances, traditional dhol drummers, henna tattoo artists, face painting, and more. Indian street food chain Curry Up Now will serve Indian street food.

At 3 p.m., the iconic throwing of colors will take place. Each guest will receive complimentary powders to participate in the celebration.
