House Fire In San Ramon Shuts Down Street
All residents have exited the home safely, police said.
SAN RAMON, CA — Montevideo Drive was shut down late Monday afternoon as firefighters battled a house fire at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Everyone evacuated the home and surrounding homes. No injuries were reported as of 3: 50 p.m., said San Ramon Police Cpt. Denton Carlson.
Photos indicated the garage was seriously damaged in the fire.

People were asked to avoid the road near Athan Downs Park and expect it to remain closed while firefighters work.
The fire was out by 5:23 p.m.

The good news is all residents are accounted for. Neighboring homes were also evacuated and no injuries have been reported.
