Indian Food Truck Opens In San Ramon: Curry Up Now

The Bay Area chain will be serving up creative takes on Indian dishes such astikka masala burritos and deconstructed samosas.

SAN RAMON, CA — While Bay Area restaurant chain Curry Up Now waits to open its City Center Bishop Ranch location, diners can stop by its newly opened food truck for a taste of the restaurant's creative takes on Indian favorites.

The truck will be open from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. weekdays at City Center Bishop Ranch, between Starbucks and Tendergreens (2678 Bishop Drive).

Its limited menu feature items such as deconstructed samosas, sweet potato "sexy fries" with cheese and meat, tikka masala burritos. Family kits at $55 may include items such as butter chicken, aloo gobi, kids mac and cheese, naan and turmeric rice.

Pickup orders can be placed in-person, online or through a third-party delivery service.

Curry Up Now says on its website that it was the first Bay Area food truck serving Indian street food in 2009, when it was founded.
