SAN RAMON, CA — Kabila Restaurant & Sweets, an Indian eatery, is now open for business.

The restaurant opened Jan. 5 and features a $16, 24-item buffet. It's part of a small chain with other Bay Area stores in Union City and Santa Clara.

The restaurant has opened where Chinese restaurant Uncle Yu's once was. Uncle Yu's folded after a fire in Dec. 2016.
