Indian Street Food Coming To San Ramon: Curry Up Now

The eatery is slated to open in San Ramon's City Center Bishop Ranch early next year.

SAN RAMON, CA — "Not your average Indian fare." That's according to the website for Curry Up Now, which touts Indian street food made from wholesome ingredients.

The eatery, which has a half-dozen locations across the Bay Area (San Francisco, Oakland, Alameda, San Mateo, Palo Alto and San Jose), is now slated to open in San Ramon's City Center Bishop Ranch early next year.

The small franchise will likely bring some of its favorite dishes to the community, such as Vada Pav (mashed potato fritter sandwiched between an amul buttered bun, garlic chutney, and Bombay dust) and Pav Bhajia (Mumbai street bhaji mash of seasonal local veggies with amul buttered pav bread).
