Just Because: A Child's Book

Just because I am human means
That I have the same human rights as everyone else.
Just because I am human means
That I can help others to help themselves.
Just because I am human means
That I can make my own choices and commitments.
Just because I am human means
That I can chose to love whomever I choose.
Just because I am human means
That no one can tell me what to say or do.
Just because I am human means
No one has the right to bully or abuse me.
Just because I am human means
That I can love and respect others.
Just because I am human means
That we are all in this together.
Just because I am human means
That I can work to end poverty and disease.
Just because I am human means
That I can work to make our Earth a better place to live.
Just because I am human means
That I can strive to end war and build peace.
Just because I am human means
That I never give up.
