Local Nonprofits Receive Support From East Bay Group
Impact 100 East Bay made $500 donations to each of its nonprofit grant finalists since 2017.
Press release from Impact 100: Impact 100, a philanthropic group of women in the East Bay of San Francisco, has provided needed funds to nine local non-profits.
“The corona virus pandemic has brought unparalleled challenges especially to the most vulnerable in our communities. The local non-profits we’ve come to know during our grant process are working tirelessly to support people severely impacted by this crisis,” said Chapter President Carol Nitz. “We are inspired by the work of these non-profit organizations and compelled to support their efforts to continue serving clients during this unprecedented crisis. By Board decision, Impact 100 East Bay has used funds from our modest reserve to make a one-time $500 donation to each of our non-profit grant finalists since 2017. Recipients have been notified and checks will be issued this week.”
The non-profits awarded the grants span East Bay communities:
