Missing Eight-Year-Old Danville Boy Found Safe

A missing eight-year-old autistic boy has been found safe, according to town officials in Danville. Eric Schneider, who does not speak, was last seen leaving his house on his razor scooter at 7:00 p.m. At about 9:30 p.m., police asked for the public’s help finding the child, and by about 10:30 p.m., police reported the boy had been found safe.

“The Danville Police Department greatly appreciates the public’s help in locating the boy, including those who searched neighborhoods and shared information on social media,” officials said in a statement.

No other details about Schneider were available.
