BREAKING: Morning Earthquake Rattles East Bay
The temblor shook things up at 3:09 a.m. Did you feel it?

The United States Geological Survey this morning is reporting a 2.9 magnitude earthquake in San Ramon. The earthquake was reported at 3:09 a.m.
The exact location was centered:
- 1km (1mi) ENE of San Ramon, California
- 5km (3mi) SE of Danville, California
- 9km (6mi) NNW of Dublin, California
- 9km (6mi) SE of Alamo, California
- 97km (60mi) SSW of Sacramento, California
The temblor was felt in Danville and Dublin, according to the USGS.

There haven’t been any reports yet of injuries or damage due to the earthquake.
On Aug. 24, 2014, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake in the Northern California killed one person, injured more than 200 others and caused millions of dollars in damage. A swarm of more than 540 quakes in San Ramon rattled nerves in the East Bay area over the summer.
