Missing San Ramon Teen Found Safe, Police Say

SAN RAMON, CA — A San Ramon teenager who disappeared on July 30 has been found safe in Fairfield, police said. Taylor Cusick, 14, was last seen at a friend's house in San Ramon at about 8:30 p.m. Monday night. Police said she was reported missing the next morning.

Investigators assigned to the case believed the California High School student ran away and likely planned her getaway.

Jeanette Cusick, Taylor's mother, took to Facebook to ask for the public's help finding her daughter. The post has been shared more than 394,000 times and has garnered 31,000 comments since it was posted on July 31. A group of about 60 people gathered in San Ramon on Sunday to search for her, according to residents.
