National Thrift Shop Day Approaches 8/17/21!
In response to Contra Costa County's, thrift shop staffers' and customers' concerns, thank you for wearing a mask.
The indefatigable member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, invite us all to SAVE THE DATE, Tuesday, August 17, to celebrate National Thrift Shop Day. The goal is to support local thrift shops as well as raise awareness for charitable organizations.
Not only do we, participants in the philanthropic community, live the motto Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, we empower those in our community who are vulnerable with funds raised at our thrift shops to support much needed and appreciated programs.
