New Gym To Specialize In High-Intensity Workouts In San Ramon
Owned by a Danville couple, Shred415's classes combine strength training and treadmill work.
SAN RAMON, CA –Shred415, a studio that offers high-intensity, interval-training classes that alternates between strength training and treadmill drills, opened its first California location Jan. 19 in San Ramon. They celebrated their ribbon cutting on Feb. 18.
The franchise fitness business started in Chicago in 2011, and the new location at 3151 Crow Canyon Place will be launched by Danville couple Lily and Giovanni De Choudens.
During the 60-minute classes, Shred415 instructors lead members through fun, fast-paced workouts tailored to every individual’s level and goals and are designed to increase muscle and burn calories.

“I immediately fell in love with Shred415’s unique concept and method of exercise,” said Lily De Choudens, a certified personal trainer and former Zumba instructor. “I can’t wait to engage with this wonderful community and motivate others to improve their health, lifestyle and overall well-being.”
Classes are divided into four, 15-minute intervals alternating between speed and endurance drills on treadmills and strength and functional-movement training on the floor.

The Shred415 site also will offer child care, complimentary lockers, towels, showers and toiletries.
