Oktoberfest Comes To San Ramon
On Saturday, welcome the fall season in style with a beer tasting, farm tours, and even a dog race.
SAN RAMON, CA - The start of October can only mean one thing in San Ramon: Oktoberfest.
This Saturday, the annual fundraiser from the San Ramon Historic Foundation will take place at the 16-acre Forest Home Historic Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A full catered German lunch will be available to those who purchase limited tickets. For $40, enjoy a Bratwurst lunch, a beer glass, and four beer tastings from five local breweries: Altamont Beer Works, Canyon Lakes Brewery, the Danville Brewing Company, Das Brew, and Morgan Territory Brewing. Wine will also be available. Different meal plans are also available for guests under 21.

The celebration will feature music by the Olympia Fields Brass, self-guided tours of the tractor barn, free docent-led tours of the Glass House Museum (an on-site home built in 1877), a sheep-herding demonstration, and even a Dachshund race.
