Oktoberfest Coming To San Ramon
The San Ramon Historic Foundation's annual fundraiser will feature beer, bratwurst, dancing, and more.
SAN RAMON, CA — It’s almost that time of year when San Ramon briefly turns into Bavaria. The San Ramon Historic Foundation has scheduled its annual Oktoberfest celebration for October 7. The festival will feature performances by the San Ramon’s Olympic Fields brass band, the Golden Gate Bavarian dancers, a catered German lunch, and beer from five local breweries.
Lunch will be provided by Pleasant Hill’s Back Forty Texas BBQ. Adults can pay $40 for a Bratwurst lunch, a beer glass, and four beer tastings. Cider, wine, fresh kettle corn, and other food and drink will also be available.
Ages 11-20 can pay $30 for Bratwurst or hot dog lunch and a soft drink, while ages 6-10 can pay $20 for a hot dog lunch and soft drink. Ages five and under eat for free.

The festival will take place Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Forest Homes Historic Park. All proceeds will benefit the San Ramon Historic Foundation. Tickets for lunch can be purchased online until Sept. 29.
