Outage That Hit 6,000 Customers In San Ramon Shrinks To Hundreds

A large outage is affecting the area around Alcosta Boulevard and Bollinger Canyon Road.

SAN RAMON, CA — Over 6,000 customers were without power in San Ramon Tuesday, according to PG&E. As of 2:30 p.m., the number has been reduced to 847.

The outage was first reported at 1:50 p.m. in a residential neighborhood east of Alcosta Boulevard and south of Bollinger Canyon Road, according to PG&E. It initially affected over 6,000 customers, but was quickly reduced to under 1000.

PG&E did not give a cause or estimated restore time.
