Police Discover Marijuana Grow Operation in San Ramon Home, Two Arrested

Police say the street value of the operation was over 1 million dollars.

San Ramon Police released the following information:

On 10/13/14 at about 4:15 PM, the San Ramon Police Department developed information regarding a possible marijuana grow at a residence on Shadowhill Circle in the City of San Ramon. A search warrant was authored and served at 8:00 PM, evidence of a large marijuana grow operation was located.

San Leandro residents Guo Yong Deng and Bofeng Huang were arrested.

Two suspects were arrested in relation to the investigation. Both were arrested on felony charges of Cultivation of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, Conspiracy, and Theft of Utilities. Huang was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility with a $170,000 bail. Deng was released pending further investigation.

The estimated street value of the operation was over 1 million dollars. This investigation is currently ongoing.
