San Ramon Police: Porch Pirates Caught With Meth

The packages were reported stolen Wednesday night and the alleged thieves were soon located, police say.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Police Department says it arrested package thieves, and located drugs and items from stolen packages in their car.

A San Ramon resident reported a woman had stolen a package off of her porch Wednesday evening, and she gave police a thorough description of the thief and car she left in, police said on the department's Facebook page. Officers say they found the car and three people were inside, along with items from stolen packages, drug paraphernalia and what police believe is meth.

The three people were arrested and booked into jail, according to the police department.
