Resident opens CertaPro Painters serving San Ramon

Local resident and first-time business owner Paul Turner made a complete career change from working for 26 years in corporate America, back into the service aspect of sales in order to provide a positive experience for his community.

In early December 2013, Turner opened CertaPro Painters – the largest painting company in North America – serving Danville, Diablo, Blackhawk and San Ramon. Turner chose this business because he has seen the home improvement industry thriving in his community over the past few years.

As a hobby, Turner has spent the last few years teaching others in the community how to turn pens at the local wood craft store. Together, he and those he has taught have made hundred of pens that they send off to our troops stationed around the world. Turner turned his woodworking hobby into a way to send thanks and thoughts to those who serve our country. He also participates with your local Toys for Tots program, Habitat for Humanity and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Posse.
