Run San Ramon to Kickoff Independence Day
Tri-Valley residents can sign up for $40 on race day.
San Ramon residents will have the opportunity to go for an early morning workout before their usual Fourth of July cookouts.
The Run San Ramon 10K run, 5K run/walk, and 3K walk will take place on Independence Day.
The course will run along Bishop Drive, Bollinger Canyon Road, Norris Canyon Road, Alcosta Boulevard and Camino Real. The 10K race will be two laps on the big course, the 5K one lap, and the 3K walk will cut across Camino Real from Norris to Bollinger.

Race day registration will start at 6:30 a.m. at $40 per person. Pre-registered entrants are guaranteed a T-shirt and a bib number for the race. Those that sign up the day of the race will be given shirts on a first come first serve basis after the race.
San Ramon's Mayor's Cup will be awarded to the highest ranking male and female San Ramon resident in the 10K and 5K runs. The top three runners in each age division, both male and female, ranging from age five to 85 plus will receive trophies.

The 10K run will start at 8:15 a.m., and the 5K and 3K at 8:20 the morning of July 4. Registration will close at 7:45 a.m.
Parking for the event will be marked as the San Ramon Community Center parking lot/Bollinger Canyon Road parking lot will be closed to the public. Carpooling is recommended.
