San Ramon Chamber's WOW Awards Nominations Open

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the newly-renamed WOW Awards, formerly known as the Business and Community Awards. Through Friday, Oct. 20, the community is invited to nominate community individuals and businesses for the following honors:

• Citizen of the Year
• Business (or Business Person) of the Year
• Educator of the Year
• Employee of the Year
• Green Company/Individual of the Year

"We are excited to energize these special awards with a name that reflects the dazzling efforts of these amazing community contributors. The December 6th WOW Awards Dinner is an opportunity to show our appreciation to those who have invested their considerable time, talent, energy and dedication into our community," San Ramon Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Heidi Kenniston-Lee said in a statement.

Anyone is free to submit nominations. See here for the nomination form and award criteria. Forms should be mailed to the Chamber of Commerce at 6101 Bollinger Canyon Road, Ste. 355, Bishop Ranch 1, San Ramon, CA 94583; or scanned and emailed to heidi@sanramon.org.

Awards will be presented at the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce WOW Awards Dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at The Bridges Golf Club. KRON4 Morning Anchor James Fletcher will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Tickets can be purchased here through Nov. 22 at 3 pm.
