A popular Marketplace eatery is closed temporarily, with a reopening date uncertain.

SAN RAMON, CA — Imperial Delight, a Chinese restaurant at the Marketplace, is temporarily closed, according to their website and witness reports.

One online commenter noted that they heard that the restaurant is closed due to a kitchen fire, though the restaurant has not confirmed this.

The restaurant’s phone number has been disconnected as of Wednesday. They do not have an email or any social media presence.

The website, which features an online ordering system, says, “Our store is temporarily closed, and the ordering system is also unavailable during this period. We will announce the reopening time later. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

The restaurant describes itself as “authentic Chinese food” and offers a full menu of soup, beef, pork, poultry, vegetables, chow mein, clay pot dishes, fried rice, and more.
