SAN RAMON, CA — The city of San Ramon and Contra Costa County are posting several openings on committees, commissions, and boards due this month. The San Ramon City Council will review applications, conduct interviews, and make final decisions.

Commissioners and committee members must reside in the city of San Ramon and be 18 or over, with the exception of members of the Teen Council, the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, and the student representative of the Parks and Community Services Commission.

Architectural Review Board: The Architectural Review Board, which provides professional review of design improvements, is seeking two regular members and two alternate members to serve two-year terms. Applicants must be professional licensed architects to apply. Applications are due Monday, Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m.

Arts Advisory Committee: The Arts Advisory Committee, which provides ongoing input to the city on the provision and delivery of cultural arts programs and services, is seeking four regular members and one alternate member to serve a two-year term. Applications are due Thursday, Feb. 26 at 11:59 p.m.

Library Advisory Committee: The Library Advisory Committee, which makes recommendations on the delivery of library programs, facilities, and policies, is seeking two regular members and one alternate member to serve two-year terms. Applications are due Thursday, Feb. 26 at 11:59 p..

Senior Citizens Advisory Committee: The Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, which advises the Parks and Community Services Commission on senior-related issues and programming at the San Ramon Senior Center, is seeking three regular members and two alternate members for two-year terms. The position is open to residents 55 and older. Applications are Thursday, Feb. 26 at 11:59 p.m.

Teen Council: The Teen Council, which serves as a liaison between teens and the city, is seeking 16 regular members and two alternate members to serve a one-year term. The council is open to any student who will be in high school for the 2026-27 academic year. Applications are due Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m.

Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging: The Contra Costa County Council on Aging, which helps inform a countywide response to aging issues, is seeking a San Ramon representative to serve a two-year term. The position is open until filled. See here to apply.
