San Ramon Farmers' Market Opening At City Center Bishop Ranch
Mayor Bill Clarkson will perform a "bread breaking" ceremony during the celebration. Save the date!
SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Farmers' Market will debut in its new location across from City Center Bishop Ranch on May 4. In addition to fresh, local fruits and vegetables, the market will feature food, flower and gift vendors, chef demonstrations and live entertainment.
“City Center Bishop Ranch is proud to provide a central community gathering place for the popular San Ramon Farmers Market,” said Charles Martinez, general manager of City Center Bishop Ranch. “The market provides San Ramon residents and the entire Tri-Valley an opportunity to not only support local producers, but to also buy fresh produce, vegetables and products that encourage a healthy, balanced lifestyle.”
Opening day festivities, which will include raffles and entertainment, will begin with a “bread breaking” ceremony at 9 a.m. led by San Ramon Mayor Bill Clarkson.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with City Center Bishop Ranch to bring San Ramon residents a quality farmers market with diverse offerings that celebrate our local growers and producers,” said Harv Singh, San Ramon Farmers Market director. “We will continue to add more vendors, like Victorian Farmstead pasture-raised meats from Sonoma who will be joining us in June, and artisan cheese makers.”
The market operates Saturdays year-round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. City Center Bishop Ranch is located at the corner of Bollinger Canyon Road and Camino Ramon.
