San Ramon To Hold Second Public Redistricting Meeting
On Tuesday, the City Council will hold its second of four public meetings to determine new district boundaries.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon City Council will hold its second public redistricting hearing Tuesday. The meeting will be the second of the four meetings required before council members vote to adopt new boundaries following the 2020 census.
The results will have a large impact on local elections, since the city switched in 2019 from at-large to district-based elections for mayoral and city council seats. In 2022, the mayoral seat will be determined at-large, while councilmembers from Districts 2 and 4 will be elected by district.
In May, the San Ramon City Council voted to take the lead in the redistricting process.
