San Ramon Hosting Memorial Day Celebration At Memorial Park
The ceremony will feature patriotic music, tributes, and a flag placing ceremony at the city's Commemorative Field of Flags.
SAN RAMON, CA — The city of San Ramon is hosting a Memorial Day commemoration on Monday, May 25 at San Ramon Memorial Park.
The event will start at 9 a.m. and feature patriotic music performed by Olympia Fields Brass and San Ramon Academy of Music student Sale Ghate; remarks from local officials and veterans groups, and a flag placing ceremony at the city's Commemorative Field of Flags.
Community members are invited to place a commemorative flag in the Field of Flags between 8:30 and 10 a.m. Anyone who can't attend can fill out this form to request that staff place a flag.

In Danville, the Viet Nam Veterans of Diablo Valley are also hosting a Memorial Day ceremony with music, tributes to the fallen, and a ribbon cutting to honor enhancements made to the All Wars Memorial. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Park.
