Party in the Park Summer Program Camp Fair
Saturday, March 2 from 1–3 p.m.

FREE; All Ages
The San Ramon Parks & Community Services Department is excited to host the annual Party in the Park & Camp Fair!
This event is designed for families to meet camp staff and camp instructors, travel from station to station to learn more about all of our diverse camp offerings, and enjoy interactive games and activities set up around San Ramon Central Park (12501 Alcosta Blvd) on Saturday, March 2 from 1–3 p.m.

Registration for San Ramon Spring Break Camps, held April 1–5, is now open.
A variety of programs are being offered this year, ranging from Nature & Farm to Bash'Em Bots to Lifeguard Certification.

San Ramon Sandbag Stations & Weather-Related Maintenance Requests
With rain forecast into next week, the City of San Ramon has made sandbag supplies (sand and bags) available to for public use.
Sandbag supplies are available at three locations:
- Athan Downs (Montevideo Drive near San Ramon Valley Blvd)
- Central Park (Alcosta Blvd adjacent to the San Ramon Community Center)
- San Ramon Sports Park (Sherwood Way)
Tips for sandbag stations:
- Bring your own shovel
- Fill bags 2/3 full
- Securely close or tie off the open end
Weather-Related Maintenance Requests:
To report clogged storm drains, downed trees, or flooding challenges, please call (925) 973-2800 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) or the San Ramon Valley 911 Communication Center at (925) 973-2779 after hours, and they will contact the appropriate Public Works staff for a response.
Construction Update: Crow Canyon Widening
Partial Roadway Paving Delayed Due to Weather
Work continues on the Crow Canyon Widening Project between Alcosta Boulevard and Crow Canyon Private (Cobblestone). See below for a summary of recent and upcoming work.
IMPORTANT: Partial roadway preparation and paving operations on Crow Canyon Road have been delayed due to wet weather. Work requires a minimum of 10 to 15 sequential working days of dry weather. Rain is currently forecasted into mid-March and may extend. Please watch for future updates from the City of San Ramon.
NOTE: Tahiti Drive remains temporarily closed to vehicles (with traffic detoured to Barbados Drive), but remains open to pedestrians.
Work Completed Through 2/28/24:
- Completed water meter installation
- Completed EBMUD meter disconnection
- Completed Verizon utility box adjustments
- Completed curb, gutter, and sidewalk work in eastbound direction from Alcosta Blvd to Barbados Drive
- Substantially completed curb, gutter, and sidewalk work in westbound direction from Alcosta Blvd to El Capitan
- Northbound Barbados Drive was opened on 1/30/24
- Completed box and valve adjustment to prepare for paving operations
- Completed sidewalk on Tahiti Drive
- Completed irrigation crossing on Tahiti Drive
Work Planned Through 3/7/24 (Weather Dependent):
- Roadway maintenance and storm preparation activities

Bark and Ride Dog Park Re-Open
Bark & Ride Dog Park (Stoneleaf Road at Bollinger Canyon Road) has re-opened after annual renovations. Bring your pups out and enjoy the fresh grass!
Now Accepting Applications: Climate Action Task Force
Apply by Sunday, March 17 at 11:59 p.m.
On January 23, 2024, the City Council voted to establish a task force with two specific tasks: (1) to work with staff to garner public input and update the City’s Climate Action Plan (CAP); and (2) once the CAP is adopted, the task force will draft a charter for Council consideration for a permanent environmental committee.
All members must be San Ramon residents. Categories marked with an asterisk (*) may be filled with a non-resident of San Ramon, provided that the person has a stake in the San Ramon business or education community.
If the City is unable to fill a position for any specific category, the Council may elect to appoint an at-large member instead.

One (1) Youth (high school age, 10th-11th grade only)
One (1) Environmental climate non-profit

Pre-Teen and Teen Self-Defense Clinic
Saturday, March 9 from 1–3 p.m.
Martial Arts of America in San Ramon
Ages: 10–14
Fee: $40(R) / $50(N) per family
This 2-hour seminar is geared to middle-school-aged children. The focus will be in two areas: bullying and real self-defense situations. This course focuses on preventing stranger and peer violence while empowering students to understand, respect, and defend their own boundaries.

Teen Job Fair: Employers Wanted

The Tri-Valley Teen Job & Career Fair is actively seeking employers interested in hiring seasonal summer staff.
With more than 350 high school attendees expected, this event presents an excellent opportunity to connect with motivated young individuals.
The Teen Job & Career Fair takes place Saturday, March 9, from noon –3 p.m. at the Alcosta Senior and Community Center (9300 Alcosta Blvd) in San Ramon.
Admission is free for employers, but space is limited and requires registration.

Construction Update: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing
Upcoming Changes to Bollinger Canyon Road Traffic
Work continues on the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road. Please see below for anticipated upcoming work and impacts to traffic flow.
Work Completed Through 2/28/24:
- Completed CIDH (cast in drilled hole) pile work on the North and South Trail
- Completed traffic signal switchover to temporary system
- Completed equipment mobilization to the median
- Completed median CIDH pile work
- Completed traffic signal switchover to the permanent traffic signal system at the intersection of Bollinger Canyon Road and BR1E
- Completed adjustment to k-rail to reduce the existing closure area to the original configuration
- Received first delivery of MSE panels for evaluation
- Completed CCCSD utility work
- Completed abutment #1
- Poured abutment #2
- Poured column #2
Work Anticipated Through 3/07/24 (Weather Dependent):
- Continue demolition, excavation on the Iron Horse Trail
- Continue abutment, pier and MSE wall work on the Trail including rebar installation and concrete pours
- Continue MSE panel installation
- Continue median work

Unclaimed Property
The City of San Ramon declares that monetary sums totaling $96,733.05 held by the City in the General Fund have remained unclaimed for a period over three (3) years and will become the property of the City of San Ramon on April 9, 2024, a date not less than forty-five (45) days nor more than sixty (60) days after the first publication of this notice, in accordance with California Government Code Section 50050-50057.
