The City has begun its 2024/25 Budget Process, with a commitment to maintaining essential services, even as the City navigates rising costs that outpace year-over-year revenue projections.
In keeping with our ongoing commitment to quality service and transparency, we want to hear from you.
The City recently mailed a short survey to all households, which can be returned by mail. The survey is also available online.
The City is also presenting information on San Ramon's Financial Outlook and Funding Needs, and is seeking feedback from the community at a number of upcoming public events this spring. View the list of upcoming events at the link below.

The City of San Ramon is seeking community input on the types of amenities to be added to the City’s dog parks!

Construction Update: Crow Canyon Widening
Paving Operations Now Underway
Work continues on the Crow Canyon Widening Project between Alcosta Boulevard and Crow Canyon Private (Cobblestone). See below for a summary of recent and upcoming work.
Paving operations began on Wednesday, March 13 with the installation of traffic control. The duration of this phase of paving work is 4–6 weeks, including striping restoration and other activities.
Construction is permitted for Saturdays in March, on an as-needed basis.
Traffic control will adjust as the work progresses. Please watch for changes to traffic patterns, expect delays, and exercise caution when driving through the construction zone. Use alternate routes whenever possible to avoid construction.
Work Completed Through 3/13/24:
- Completed box and valve adjustment to prepare for paving operations
- Completed sidewalk on Tahiti Drive
- Completed irrigation crossing on Tahiti Drive
- Completed traffic control installation for paving operations
Work Planned Through 3/21/24 (Weather Dependent):

Dive into the raw truths surrounding depression, the urgency of prevention, and the battle for brighter tomorrows at a Suicide Prevention Panel on Wednesday, March 27 from 6–8:30 p.m. at Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center (10550 Albion Road).
Keynote Speaker Katie Dennis, LMFT, along with the panel, will provide hope, encouragement and resources! Discussion will include: what SRPD are seeing, prevention, when to reach out for help, and where to turn.

DSRSD invites YOU to apply for the 2024 Citizens Water Academy! Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at water and wastewater management and operations in three engaging sessions.
Academy Dates: April 17, May 22, and June 20 from 6–8:30 p.m.
Location: DSRSD facilities in Dublin and Pleasanton

Construction Update: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing
Work continues on the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road. Please see below for anticipated upcoming work.
Work Completed Through 3/13/24:
- Completed Abutment #1
- Poured Abutment #2
- Poured Column #2
- Poured Pier 1 Y-section
- Poured grout for Pier 3
Work Anticipated Through 3/21/24:
- Continue demolition, excavation on the Iron Horse Trail
- Continue abutment, pier and MSE wall work on the Trail, including rebar installation and concrete pours
- Continue MSE panel deliveries and installation; south side delivery has begun
- Continue median work for Pier 3 – will see increased construction work in the median area. No additional lane closures are expected at this time.
Unclaimed Property
The City of San Ramon declares that monetary sums totaling $96,733.05 held by the City in the General Fund have remained unclaimed for a period over three (3) years and will become the property of the City of San Ramon on April 9, 2024, a date not less than forty-five (45) days nor more than sixty (60) days after the first publication of this notice, in accordance with California Government Code Section 50050-50057.
