San Ramon Recruiting For Climate Action Task Force

The city is looking for nine people to help update the Climate Action Plan and plan for a permanent environmental committee.

SAN RAMON, CA — The city of San Ramon is looking for nine residents to serve on a new Climate Action Citizens Task Force. The task force will work with city staff to solicit public input and update the city’s Climate Action Plan, and draft a charter for a permanent environmental committee. The city is looking for San Ramon residents in several different categories listed below. Positions marked with an asterisk may be filled by a non-resident if that person is involved with the San Ramon business or education committee.

Applications must be completed by Sunday, March 17 at 11:59 p.m.

  • One Chamber Representative/Business*
  • One Youth (high school age, 10th-11th grade only)
  • One member of an Environmental climate non-profit
  • One energy industry representative*
  • One construction/landscaping/trades representative
  • One educational or SRV school district representative*
  • One resident at-large member
  • Two Alternates Resident at-large
