San Ramon Redistricting Process To Be Weighed This Week

The San Ramon City Council will discuss the process of redistricting the city on Thursday.

SAN RAMON, CA — City officials in San Ramon is in the process of re-defining district lines for upcoming City Council elections and the next public hearing is set to take place on Thursday.

The refinement of district lines will be based on new data from the 2020 census.

At least four public hearings must be held at City Council meetings to redraw the districts, according to the Fair Maps Act.

San Ramon residents can participate in the meeting virtually through Zoom here. Public comments can also be submitted by email and must be in by 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Thursday marks the third public hearing, with the last one taking place March 22.
