San Ramon Residents Have Until Friday To File Election Paperwork
San Ramon residents interested in running for mayor or the city council must file by the end of the day Friday.

SAN RAMON, CA — The deadline is almost approaching for San Ramon registered voters 18 or older to file papers to run for mayor or to represent District 2 or 3 on the city council. Candidates must live in the district they hope to represent. See here for a map.
Potential candidates must file by Friday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m. The nomination period extends to Aug. 17 at 5 p.m. if incumbents for these positions do not file within this period.
The San Ramon City Clerk's Office is taking in-person appointments from Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5 p.m., to obtain process nomination papers.
