Join us on Thursday, September 17 at Dougherty Station Community Arts Center (17011 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA 94582) for Third Thursday Arts & Eats, a new monthly community gathering celebratingcreativity,local artists, andgreat food!

Held on the third Thursday of each month from May through October, this evening event brings together art, food trucks, and community in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Teen Service and Leadership Program

The City of San Ramon Parks & Community Services Department has created the Teen Service and Leadership program to give teens in San Ramon meaningful opportunities, in their community, to help them grow and become future leaders.

Participants will gain hands-on experiences within the Parks & Community Services department, learning to work as a team, meet deadlines, assist with community events, network with City Staff, and learn important “soft skills” to interact with the public and co-workers.

Outstanding Teen Citizenship Award
Application Deadline: September 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Are you a high school student who has positively impacted the San Ramon Community? If so, please apply for the City of San Ramon’s Outstanding Teen Citizenship Award.

Each year, the City of San Ramon Teen Council selects a high school student who has made a significant contribution toward enhancing the quality of life for residents of San Ramon during the last year.

The award winner will be recognized at a City Council Meeting and presented with a plaque for their contribution to the City of San Ramon; receive a $250 Scholarship, sponsored by Realty ONE Group Today; and by recognized as "Teen of the Year" at the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce W.O.W. Awards Dinner.

Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Class

Thursday, October 22 (Family PEP — All Welcome), 6–9 p.m.

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District is pleased to offer Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Classes every month in 2026!

What do you personally need in your Emergency Preparedness Kit? Have you wanted to start a kit or create an emergency plan, but have not found the motivation? It's time to find out what YOU need to be ready and respond in a disaster situation.

PEP is designed for individuals and families (ages 10–110) to learn the importance ofpersonal and homedisaster preparedness, and how to survive after a major emergency. This class will preparethe individual, their home and their familywith the information, supplies and skills needed to be self-sufficient for 7+ days in a disaster.

During this FREE PEP Class, participants will learn:

• What to do before, during and after a major emergency
• Hazard Mitigation and Utility Control
• Personal and Family Emergency Supplies
• Staying Calm Amid Chaos

Upon completion of the program, participants will have the knowledge and resources to create a home emergency plan, build an emergency kit with supplies, and complete basic emergency response tasks in and around their home.
