San Ramon Student Offers App Development, Entrepreneurship Lessons
Dougherty Valley senior Fatimah Hussain is offering four-week lessons in app development and youth entrepreneurship.

SAN RAMON, CA — Dougherty Valley senior Fatimah Hussain is running an iOS Development Bootcamp and Youth Entrepreneurship Program for students in grades 3-9. No prior web or app development experience is required.
Hussain has started a number of websites and apps, including Perky 3D Prints and UnicornLock, a CAD and 3D printing business; BluWings Technologies LLC, an app development startup; and 2 Min Maths!, a YouTube channel with math instruction.
She has spoken at two TEDx conferences, and received the Gold Presidential Service Award and Outstanding Teen Citizenship Award. See her website and LinkedIn profile to learn more about her experience.

The two workshops will teach students how to create apps, start businesses, and sell their own products. 1.5-hour sessions are available each week, either online or in-person. Dates and times are flexible. The iOS Bootcamp costs $40 a week online, and $55 a week in-person. The Entrepreneurship Program costs $45 in person per week.
