San Ramon Teen Remains in Critical Condition After Car Hit Him Saturday
Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
SAN RAMON, CA — A teenager who was injured after he was struck by a car near Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon Saturday evening is still in critical condition, police officials said Monday afternoon. Police are seeking witnesses to the collision.
The crash was reported at about 7:45 p.m. A skateboard at the scene led police to believe that the boy was skateboarding when he was hit. The boy was airlifted to Children's Hospital Oakland. The driver was cooperative with police, officers said.
"The pedestrian was crossing Bollinger Canyon Road at Blueheart Way, from north to south when he was struck by the vehicle, which was traveling west on Bollinger Canyon Road," police said in a statement.

The cause of the collision has not yet been determined, police said.
