San Ramon Valley Teens Volunteer To Support Young Entrepreneurs
Six San Ramon Valley teens stepped up to organize an event that allowed youth to pitch tech solutions to real-world problems.

SAN RAMON VALLEY, CA —Six San Ramon Valley teens volunteered to organize a Zoom event that gave four groups of Bay Area teens the opportunity to pitch business ideas to Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
Youth participating in The Indus Entrepreneurs's Young Entrepreneurs spent more than 100 hours preparing pitches that offered tech solutions to real-world problems. Products sought to offer teens STEM help, help people schedule time for friends, link people with local recycling solutions and find sustainable clothing.
California High student Tiya Sharma and Dougherty Valley High students Aditya Jain, Milan Mohamed, Meghna Paul, Lohit Potnuru and Jade Zhou worked together to make it happen for the young entrepreneurs.

“I felt like this event helped me learn a lot about what it took to help organize an event," Paul said in a post about the event. "Whether it was the marketing it took to let people know about this event, or the coordination it took to work together.
