Bishop Ranch Chevron Park Update
Chevron Park is an office area of San Ramon that recently sold to Sunset Development (Bishop Ranch) and is being evaluated for redevelopment, along with the southern portion of Bishop Ranch 1. The preliminary vision for the property is to create a pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use community that includes concentrated commercial, residential and recreational uses that are integrated with Bishop Ranch and City Center.
The City of San Ramon hosted the first Public Workshop on January 31, 2023 in an effort to solicit public input early in the process and help inform the future development of Chevron Park. The first workshop provided a preliminary review of concepts for redevelopment, including low-, medium- and high-density housing options, and discussed the pros and cons of each.

A second Public Workshop was held as part of the Planning Commission Meeting on Tuesday, March 7. This workshop served as a continuation of the discussion, and an opportunity for the general public and interested parties to provide input, comments, and discuss the vision for the development of Chevron Park. At this meeting, Sunset Development presented four different development scenarios for the project site. Click here to view the four concepts, and click here to watch a recording of the meeting.
An additional Study Session was held on Wednesday, March 8 as part of a Joint Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) / Housing Advisory Committee (HAC) Special Meeting. This Study Session provided the EDAC and HAC the opportunity to provide input, comments, and discuss the vision for the development of Chevron Park based on the prior workshop feedback.
