Santa, The Grinch To Parade Around San Ramon On Fire Truck

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District has a new firefighter. He’s from the North Pole, so he doesn’t have too much experience with fire, but he’s a quick study.

Santa Claus will be traveling in a fire truck throughout San Ramon on Saturday, Dec. 10, and in Danville on Saturday, Dec. 17. Santa will board the ladder at Athens Down Park at 4:30 p.m. Saturday and and finish at about 6 p.m. at San Ramon City Center. The parade route can be found on the SRVFPD website. The parade will also livestream on the SRVFPD Instagram page.

Santa won’t be the only visitor: the Grinch is joining the parade on a 1930’s Autocar Fire Engine that belonged to the historic Danville Fire Department. After the parade, Santa, Sparky the Fire Dog, and the Grinch will be available for family photos at the City Center in San Ramon from about 6-8 p.m.
