SEE: San Ramon Valley Firefighters Battle North Bay Glass Fires
Crews have helped evacuate patients and battle back flames encroaching on Santa Rosa.

NORTH BAY, CA — San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District crews have headed to the North Bay as the Glass Fire rages on.
SRVFPD crews responded to help protect Santa Rosa, evacuate a hospital and assist with immediate needs.
Smoke from the Glass Fire may drift into the San Ramon Valley, firefighters said.

The fires, which were sparked Sunday, had already scorched more than 36,200 acres and destroyed 80 buildings in Napa and Sonoma counties as of Tuesday morning, according to Cal Fire. The fire has no containment and the entire city of Calistoga was under a mandatory evacuation order as of 9 a.m. Monday.

While the beloved, family-owned Chateau Boswell Winery burned in St. Helena, nearby Duckhorn Vineyards was spared. Duckhorn, widely acclaimed for its Merlot, was a staple at President Ronald Reagan's table and served at President Barack Obama's inauguration luncheon, the Washington Post reported.
Calistoga's Castello di Amorosa, a replica of a 13th century Italian castle and one of the biggest tourist attractions in Napa County, lost its farmhouse with all of its bottled wine, some wine tanks and offices in the fire, though the castle remains standing, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
